Kayla just got a tattoo, how long could she hide it from her mom? Well, she hid it from her mom for over a year. Kayla regrets getting the first tattoo so early. She also got a piercing, that her friend did for her, without asking her mom, but this time she got caught, because her piercing got infected, so she had to ask her mom what she could do. Teenagers should not get body piercings or tattoos because it causes health problems, it affects job opportunities, and it scars the body. If people get informed more on the health risks then maybe people will think twice before on getting a tattoo by someone who is not professional. Nipple piercings that enter milk ducts can interfere with breast-feeding. Metal studs worn in pierced tongues can chip tooth enamel, leading to costly dental problems” (Body piercing).
